Why Medfit exists

Health is more than a number on a scale

Medfit Power House Wellness Club was created by Devyn Marshall after years of working in fitness and eventually managing a medical clinic. That experience changed the way I looked at health, wellness, and what people truly need to thrive.

Strength for everyday life
Progress with purpose
A community that cares

Fitness and helping people change their lives had already become a major passion of mine, but managing a clinic allowed me to see healthcare from the inside. I watched people struggle with weight, energy, confidence, metabolic health, and quality of life. I also saw how powerful medications can be for the right person.

But I kept coming back to a bigger question: what happens outside of the medication? Where is the strength training, nutrition education, accountability, muscle-preservation plan, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, sleep, recovery, and long-term strategy?

What is the plan for helping someone become healthier—not simply lighter?

Medication can be an incredible tool when clinically appropriate, but medication alone is not a complete wellness strategy. Medfit bridges medical support and everyday life through guidance, training, sustainable habits, and community.

And yes, feeling better often means looking better, too. Building strength, improving body composition, moving with confidence, and seeing progress in the mirror can be deeply motivating. We celebrate those visible changes while keeping the focus on health, capability, and sustainable habits—not unrealistic perfection.

Whether you are a young adult building confidence and learning how to train, a busy parent ready to feel like yourself again, or an older adult protecting strength and independence, your goals belong here. Medfit meets people where they are and helps them become a stronger, healthier version of themselves.

My passion became bigger than helping someone lose weight. It became a question of healthspan: how do we help people stay capable, strong, independent, and healthier for as much of life as possible? Being able to play with your grandchildren, maintain strength as you age, have energy to live your life, and learn how to take care of yourself before poor health dictates it.
